Error: Multiple results for field "Name" using search list "Batch Revenue Constituent Search" were found, so an exact record could not be determined - When importing a membership dues batch

When trying to import a membership dues batch that also import additional members of the membership you may experience an error in Altru even though there are no duplicates in the user's database that says:

Multiple results for field "Name" using search list "Batch Revenue Constituent Search" were found, so an exact record could not be determined.
This issue occurs because the constituent is apart of a household in Altru and the system cannot determine which record to pull into the Import. To resolve this issue complete the import without the additional members and add the additional members to the membership after completion. You can follow these steps to add members to a membership: 
  1. Click Constituents > Constituent Search > Search for and select the constituent
  2. Click on the memberships tab on the constituent record
  3. Click the edit members link below the lookup IDs of the members

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Click Administration > import > add
  2. Choose the Membership dues batch under the membership folder
  3. Upload a CSV file with the constituent information that includes membership transactions with additional members added to the membership. Make sure the additional member is apart of a household in Altru.
  4. Map the fields of your CSV file and set the import options then click save
  5. Start the import process
Once the process finishes you may receive the error message
