When running the Attendance Detail Report, we filter on specific attendance codes (absent and late for example) along with setting our details (Format > Details) to include student by the number of attendance Units accumulated to 5, with a minimum and maximum to all attendance codes.
Filtering by specific date range and a specific student, we receive an error of "No records meet specified critieria" even though we know that the student in question has met said criteria.
What the option for Select to Include Students by the number of attendance Units accumulated is doing is running an attendance calculation. In Configuration > Attendance Codes make sure that the attendance codes we are filtering on in our report, are selected for use within Configuration..
Although on the report we have the option to “Only include attendance codes that are used in attendance calculations” unmarked, this option only refers to what codes will display on the report. It does not affect the actual calculations that are run if the Detail section is used.
Allowing the proper attendance codes to be used in calculations along with selecting the proper number of instances to report, we can run our attendance report and view the proper results.
