Error: This event can only have one of the following cross reference entries - when trying to configure the cross reference for an event

You may experience a technical difficulties page when trying to publish a Calendar Event. You may also experience the following error when trying to configure the cross reference to CRM:

"Error: This event can only have one of the following cross reference entries: Luminate CRM Ticketed Event, Luminate CRM Ticketed Event (Split-Ticket Purchase)"
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information. In the meantime, follow these steps:
  1. Go to Data Management > select Import/Export
  2. Select Cross Reference Types
  3. Click on either Luminate CRM Ticketed Event or Luminate CRM Ticketed Event (Split-Ticket Purchase), whichever you plan to delete
  4. Click on the Mapped Value which relates to your event
  5. Scroll down, and right before you see a list of actions of the cross reference, you'll see a Delete button
  6. Click Delete

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Create a cross reference in Luminate Configuration > Cross References.
  2. Try to then delete it.
