Contact information for non-constituent primary business does not appear in Raiser's Edge NXT webview

An individual constituent's Primary Business information from The Raiser's Edge database view appears as Primary Business in the Raiser's Edge NXT webview. Clicking on the business's name will open its details to a new screen to view its details.

If the primary business is linked to a constituent record, then Raiser's Edge NXT will open to the linked organization record. However, if the primary business is a non-constituent organization relationship, then the next screen opens with address, phone, and email information. Even if there is address and phone information entered in The Raiser's Edge database view, the information does not appear in Raiser's Edge NXT.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

In the meantime, we have found that this issue only occurs when the organisation relationship is created in The Raiser's Edge database view.  If the organisation relationship is created in NXT webview the address and phone/email information are saved correctly.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Log into database view.
  2. Look up a constituent with a business present on their record.
  3. Click on Primary Business from Bio1 tab. The non-constituent relationship opens with address and telephone contact information.
  4. Then log into the Raiser's Edge NXT web view.
  5. Look up the constituent you used above.
  6. Click on the organization under Primary Business in the constituent summary panel or under the Relationship panel.
  7. A new screen will open, but no address, phones, or other information appears.
