When exporting a marketing effort that includes a money amount as merge field the received email prefixes that amount with a $ sign.
If exporting the same effort using a Word mail merge or downloading the output to Excel then a euro sign € is output as expected.
Download and install the latest patch which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.

- Create a constituent record that has a valid email address - Add a monthly recurring gift (RG) of €10 that begins on 1st April 2016 therefore has an unpaid balance straight away - Add a package that includes a direct marketing email, the email should include the 'Amount' merge field for the above RG - Create a marketing effort that includes a segment with your constituent record created above in it - Calculate segment counts - Export the effort and run the email job, this should send the email to the email address on your constituent record added above - Notice the received email via BBIS prefixes the 'Amount' merge field with a $ sign
