Solicitor credit incorrect on pledge payments

When adding a pledge payment for a pledge where there are solicitors, the solicitor credit on the pledge payment shows as only 99 percent, or off by one or two cents. This only occurs if the Distribute "Evenly" setting is applied for the solicitor credit on the pledge, it does not occur if the "Full amount to all" setting is applied.
We are currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future release.

 

Steps to Duplicate

1. Create a pledge in any amount with more than one installment and then click save
2. On the pledge record, go to the Solicitors tab on the pledge record. Underneath the Designation click the arrow and then click on the Edit solicitors button.
3. In the Edit solicitors window add a solicitor on line 1 along with the full amount of the pledge
4. In the Distribute drop down on the bottom of the Edit solicitors window, select "Evenly" and click Apply then Save.
5. Now, add a payment to the pledge.
6. On the pledge payment record in the Application details area on the bottom of the page in the Solicitors area, notice that the solicitor credit is not the full amount of the payment, it is off by .01 cents.
7. Now, go back to the pledge record itself, go to the Solicitors tab on the pledge record. Underneath the Designation click the arrow and then click on the Edit solicitors button
8. In the Edit solicitors window go to the Distribute drop down and now select "Full amount to all" and click Apply then Save.
9. Add another payment to this pledge.
10. On this 2nd payment record in the Application details area on the bottom of the page in the Solicitors area, notice that the solicitor credit is now the full amount of the pledge payment.
