1. From Sales, click on Close drawer. This brings up the Close Drawer Screen, where all cash and check in the user's drawer are counted and entered. Credit card payments will pull into the drawer automatically. 
  2. On the Close Drawer Screen, use the calculator to enter cash and coin counted from the drawer.
  3. Enter the number of checks, and the total amount of the checks in the drawer. 
  4. On the right side of the screen, the Starting balance shows. This is what was entered as the cash that was initial in the drawer during Count initial cash at the beginning of the shift. This will be subtracted from the deposit amount.
  5. Once the checks and cash have been entered, click Save. 
  6. Click Yes to the prompt to Submit the drawer.                                    
  7. The drawer is now ready for Approval.
