Error: General ODBC Error: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server] Conversion failed when converting the varchar value 'ment 17990' to data type int. Native error:245

In Banks, when posting adjustments to General Ledger, we may receive the error below:

Error: General ODBC Error: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server] Conversion failed when converting the varchar value 'ment 17990' to data type int. Native error:245
This error may occur as a result of editing the system defined adjustment reference field on the adjustment record. For example:

Original reference: Adjustment created to offset amount of voided payment 12345
Changed reference : Correction - Adjustment created to offset amount of voided payment 17990

Remove the change made to the reference to resolve the error message. If additional notes are needed, add the information in the Notes area. The number of characters in the reference should remain at 54 + the Payment number.

Steps to Duplicate

1. Select Banks from the navigation bar.
2. Click Post Adjustments to the General Ledger.
3. Press Validate. Note that the validation is successful.
4. Press Post Now and receive error.
