Total revenue and payments report not matching revenue by payment method report

When comparing the Total revenue and payments report to the Revenue by payment method report, you may find the the amount paid for merchandise don't match. The Total Revenue and Payments report may have been removing specific merchandise orders that had taxes and were refunded. 
This issue has been resolved in version 5.0. All sites have been updated in April 2018. If you experience this error, please chat with support to provide the exact steps that were taken.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. From Revenue, select Total revenue and payment
  2. Enter your date range and view the report
  3. On another tab, from Revenue, select the Revenue by payment methods report
  4. Run for the same date range
  5. Compare merchandise amounts
