Some users that have already downloaded the GIFTS Online or AngelPoints mobile applications on their iOS devices appear to be unable to sign into these applications shortly after they initially began to "test drive" the apps.
iOS devices have the ability to restrict mobile data usage for individual applications. After testing, we found that if this usage was disabled, the applications were easily accessible via Wi-Fi, but would fail to connect completely if the user was dependent on their mobile 3G/4G LTE network to connect.
To resolve the issue, follow the steps below:
1. Go to the Settings application on your iOS device 2. Tap General 3. Tap Restrictions 4. Enter your Restrictions Passcode 5. Scroll down the screen and tap Cellular/Mobile Data Use (appears between Accounts and Background App Refresh under the Allow Changes label) 6. Select Allow Changes
This will then bring up a listing of applications where you can toggle mobile data use on or off. Be sure that the GIFTS Online and AngelPoints applications are turned On to resolve.
