If you make the field Required, this will remove the <None> option from the list. This does mean that your grantees will need to select a value for this field before submitting their application.
  1. Launch Grant Application Manager.
  2. Open Forms Manager
  3. Select the application form.
  4. Click File >> Open or the Open icon to open the form for editing.
  5. Go to the Fields tab.
  6. Select the field you wish to change.
  7. In the lower right, select Required in the Type selector.
  8. Click Save and Close
  9. Activate the form if necessary.
