You can move an Incoming Student back to the Candidate role, but first, they must be withdrawn as a Past Candidate, then re-activated in Enrollment Management as a Candidate. When the candidate is re-activated, they will have the same Checklist status as they did before being enrolled.

To Withdraw an Incoming Student as a Past Candidate:
  1. Navigate to Core > Users > Edit user profile data
  2. Search/select your Incoming Student.
  3. Scroll to the lower left under System Information and select Student Enrollment.
  4. Click Withdraw in the upper right corner.
  5. Fill out the required fields, and select Role: Past Candidate. (If the Past Candidate Role is not an available option, please follow the instructions for Why can't I withdraw an Incoming Student as a Past Candidate? and then proceed with the above and following steps)
  6. Click Save & Exit.
This will then make your Incoming Student a Past Candidate.

To make a Past Candidate a Candidate:
  1. Navigate to Enrollment Management > Admissions > Admissions Management
  2. On the Overview tab, select Reapply Candidates
  3. Select the Re-Activate radio button.
  4. Search by Role: Past Candidate (you can also search by Last Name to locate the specific user).
  5. Click Next.
  6. Select the user from the search results.
  7. Click Save & Exit.
This will then move the Past Candidate into the Candidate role.
