Note: As of July 9, 2018, Blackbaud’s School Management solutions (which include Core, onBoard, onCampus, onMessage, and onRecord) are utilizing a new top level navigation. This primarily affects users performing administrative tasks—constituent navigation for most parents, students, faculty, and alumni will remain the same. We appreciate your patience as we work to update our documentation. If you are seeing this message, the content of this solution is still being vetted for possible updates. Please refer to this mapping document if you need assistance finding a task in the new navigation.
The Student Body Diversity - By Year report lists more students in a particular school year than the Student Body Diversity report.
The difference between these two reports is coming from Past Students. Past Students are included in the Student Body Diversity - By Year report because those students were enrolled in the school at some point during the year. We don't have them in the Student Body Diversity - By Level or Grade report because they currently do not have an active level or grade for the report to pick them up from.
The two reports are designed for different purposes, and the Student Body Diversity report is better used as a snapshot of current enrollments, rather than historical enrollments. It is best to use the Student Body Diversity-By Year report when you need diversity information for past years.
