Note: these changes are only for new orders, they do not affect existing orders.

If you only need to use your With Required Purchase discount in Daily Sales, 

you can create a Daily Sales button for this discount for ease of use or you can just click the Discounts and promotions button and then select the discount.
  1. Create a Daily Sales discount button for your With Required Purchase discount, then click this button when you want to apply the discount.
  2. OR Go to Tickets > Configure Daily Sales Page.
  3. In the Default daily sales buttons section, note whether Discounts and promotions section says Active "Yes".
  4. If so, go to Sales > Daily Sales.
  5. Enter your items in the cart.
  6. Then click the Discounts and promotions button.
  7. Select your with required purchase discount from the discount dropdown.
  8. Select the option to apply to all valid items or just a certain number of times.
  9. Click Save.
  10. In Tickets > Configure Daily Sales Page > Default daily sales buttons, if Discounts and Promotions says Active "No," click Set button order.
  11. In the left Inactive buttons column, select Discounts and promotions and click the right arrow to move this to the active buttons column.  Note: The Inactive buttons column is organized by alphabetical order.
  12. In the Active buttons column, click on Discounts and Promotions and click on the up or down arrows to set where this button displays in Daily Sales.
  13. Click Save.
  14. Then go to Sales > Daily Sales.
  15. Enter your items in the cart.
  16. Then click the Discounts and promotions button.
  17. Select your with required purchase discount from the discount dropdown.
  18. Select the option to apply to all valid items or just a certain number of times.
  19. Click Save.
If you are using this discount in Online Sales, you need to change the discount from manual to with code, then publish that code on your website for patrons to use to get their discount.
  1. Go to Tickets > Ticket and merchandise discounts.
  2. Click on the green downward arrows next to your with required purchase discount.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. In the selected for use dropdown, select With Code.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Click on the blue hyperlink name of the discount.
  7. On the Promotion Codes tab, click Add.
  8. Add your code that you want patrons to use to receive the discount.
  9. If you would like, enter dates in the Valid from and Valid to fields to specify dates that this promo code is eligible.
  10. Click Save.
  11. Publish this code on your web forms so patrons know to use this to receive the discount.
    1. Go to Tickets > Program Search.
    2. Search for and select the program this discount is used on.
    3. Go to the Web Forms tab.
    4. Click Edit.
    5. Enter in a description that contains the code.  For example, "Use the code "your code" in the discount code field on the second page to receive your discount for this program"
    6. Click Save.
  12. In Daily Sales to use the discount, Enter your items in the cart.
  13. Then click the Discounts and promotions button.
  14. Select Enter Promotion code from the Discounts dropdown.
  15. In the Promotion code field, enter your code.
  16. Select the option to apply to all valid items or just a certain number of times.
  17. Click Save.
Note: If you use With Required Purchase discounts for members online, if your discount is set up to only be eligible for your members, we recommend changing the With Required Purchase discount to with code and publishing the code online using the steps above.  If your With Required Purchase discount is limited to members only, only they will be able to use this code while logged into the webform.

If you only need to use your With Required Purchase discount in Group Sales, 
  1. Go to Tickets > Ticket and merchandise discounts.
  2. Click on the green dropdown arrows next to the discount and click Edit.
  3. In the selected for use dropdown, select Manually.
  4. Then go to Sales > Group Sales and select your reservation.
  5. In the reservation, click Apply Discount under Tasks on the left
  6. Select your discount from the Discount dropdown and click Save.
If you only need to use your With Required Purchase discount in Advance Sales, 

  1. Go to Tickets > Ticket and merchandise discounts.
  2. Click on the green dropdown arrows next to the discount and click Edit.
  3. In the selected for use dropdown, select Manually.
  4. Go to Sales > Advance Sales.
  5. On the create order section of Advance Sales, click on the items you are selling and click Add to order.
  6. Click discounts and promotions > Apply Discounts and Promotions.
  7. Select your discount from the Discount dropdown and click Save.

If you are not using your With Required Purchase discounts, to disable a discount: 
  1. Click Tickets
  2. Click Ticket and Merchandise Discounts in the Discounts and Promotions section
  3. Click the arrows beside the discount that we need to disable
  4. Click the Mark Inactive button 
  5. Click Yes.
If you need to apply a With Required Purchase discount to more than 5 unique items, we recommend you ring up two or more separate orders.
