Altru assigns online membership and membership transaction to different constituents

When a member has purchased or renewed an online membership through Altru's web forms you may notice that the membership was added to a duplicate record but the membership transaction was added to the correct constituent record
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information. In the meantime, if you merge the two records in Altru this should put the revenue and membership purchase on the same record. This video will walk you through merging two constituents

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Create a constituent in your Altru database and register that constituent on your Altru web forms
  2. Go to your membership web form
  3. Purchase a membership on the web form using the same information from the constituent that you just created
After purchasing the membership you may notice that the revenue for the membership will be on the original constituent's record but the membership will be on the new membership record that was created by the web form
