Error: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found - when reviewing Secure Payment Exceptions

When running the Secure Payment Template Update, the exception in the error logs is:
Failed to update template for page 'Page Name' (Page ID: 205; Content ID: 601; Delivery Channel: 3f6b2ea0-73e8-462b-a065-de89421816a4)
The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.
Failed to render the page. Please check your part settings
This can occur after an environment is refreshed from another environment, such as a TEST environment refreshed with recent data from Production. This may also occur if the Primary Site URL does not have the correct URL. Confirm the Primary Site URL is correct:
  1. Log in to the website
  2. Navigate to  Administration > Sites & Settings
  3. Select the site on the left hand site
  4. For each site, look at the Primary Site URL. Make sure it begins with the correct URL for the current environment.
  5. If any changes are made, click Save

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Run the Secure Payment Template Update and take note of timestamp
  2. Access the error logs from the server
  3. Find message from the time that the Update ran
  4. See 404 message
