Running past year report cards, and the wrong grade levels are showing

When printing report cards for past academic years and filtering on specific grade levels (Trying to print all 8th grade report cards from the previous academic year), users may notice that the incorrect students are being shown on the report card. For example, filtering on 8th graders for the year 2015-2016 is showing the 8th grade students for the current academic year.

For the time being, it is possible to use a query to filter on student progression entries during the desired academic year.

Steps to Duplicate

1. Open a record of a student who is currently enrolled, and who was enrolled in the school the previous academic year.

2. Click Grades > Print Report Cards.
3. Click Add New.
4. Select the desired academic year.
5. Select the year prior.
6. In the filters tab, filter on the particular student.
7. In the filters tab, filter to the grade level that the student was the year prior.
8. In the Details tab, open the course section.
9. Click on the column tab, and add a new column (I did course name).
10. Preview the report card and notice you get Error: No records meet specified criteria.
