How to Mass Update existing Accounts

We can mass update information on existing accounts as long as the information that is being changed will all have the same value.  For example, we want to assign a value of Individual to the User Defined Field of Account Type to a group of constituent accounts. 
  1. Click Management
  2. Click Mass Update 
  3. Click  Update Existing Accounts on the left side 
  4. Choose the Query Category and Query that has been created 
  5. Mark the button to Assign or Remove
  6. Complete only the field to be updated
  7. Click Next to Preview. Confirm the number of accounts to be updated is the same number of accounts within your query 
  8. Click Next to Run 
  9. Click Ok to the Continue message, after you have read the message
