We noticed the Email Opt-in Status field on the Constituent360 profiles and would like more info about this. Some constituents are opted in, but this field shows Opt-Out.
This field was created long ago and was intended to only be used by the system for analytics purposes as part of Email Classic. The field is no longer used in the newer parts of the product, which means certain methods of opting in or opting out may not change this field. As such, this field is no longer supported as it falls in the same category as our other Classic modules (Email Classic, Donations Classic).
