Online Express uses the criteria chosen by Supervisor users in Account settings to check constituent records existing in The Raiser's Edge against the chosen fields on new donation and event registration transactions. Why are some constituents linked in the transaction window and some are not? How does Online Express determine which records already exist?
To view or change the fields considered in Constituent Matching:
1. Sign into The Raiser's Edge as a user with supervisor rights 2. Select Online Express 3. At the top, go to Account> Integration Options 4. Select Constituent Matching 5. View and edit the matching fields:
6. Click OK to save the changes
For example, if you only want to match/auto-link constituents based on the Last Name field, mark only the Last Name checkbox. Users can also opt to find Exact Matches, Include Inactive constituents from RE, and Include Deceased records.
