Note: As of July 9, 2018, Blackbaud's School Management solutions (which include Core, onBoard, onCampus, onMessage, and onRecord) are utilizing a new top level navigation. This primarily affects users performing administrative tasks-constituent navigation for most parents, students, faculty, and alumni will remain the same. We appreciate your patience as we work to update our documentation. If you are seeing this message, the content of this solution is still being vetted for possible updates. Please refer to this mapping document if you need assistance finding a task in the new navigation.
When doing a Data Import, when I click Save & Exit after adding a Job I get the error message "Invalid file layout. Your file does not match one of the supported file layouts"
The error is more than likely caused by extra columns being added to the CSV file.
For example if the first Row is not the actual column Headers and says something like Table 1, this could be causing the error.
To get the file to Validate or process correctly, remove the unnecessary columns from the CSV file and then resubmit.
Be sure to also check the column Headers to ensure there are no commas in the Headers, if there is, that may also produce the error.
Steps to Duplicate
