The name and address of submitted records is used to match records in our Master Data Repository.  Addresses are first standardized through CASS certification to ensure the data is ready for matching, and then the following advanced matching logic is applied:
  • Name + Address
  • Name + Historic Address
  • Statistic based fuzzy matches
  • Rule based fuzzy matches
  • Edit/keyboard distance algorithms (fat fingers)
  • Nickname / alias matching (Bob, Robert)
  • Referential data matching
Every record will receive a key.  Temporary keys are assigned for records that are not matched to our Master Data Repository
