When running reports, some accounts with an Individual Name Format do not pull a First Name or Last Name.
Most likely, your organization has not yet completed the Name Format Conversion, which can be found on the Home page of eTapestry and should be a task for administrators in your database. If an account hasn't been processed fully through the conversion tool, it will not have a committed Name Format. Since Name Format is now a required field, when you visit the Account Settings page you will be required to select the appropriate Name Format in order to make changes on that page. Your organization should complete the Name Format Conversion so that all of your accounts have a Name Format and Individuals can be stored split name fields (First Name, Last Name, etc.).
If your organization has already completed the Name Format Conversion, there may be another reason why the Name Format is not saved on the account. There was an issue with import which allowed accounts to be created/updated without committing the name fields, making it appear that the account didn't have a name. We resolved the import issue in our 7.23.0 release on 7/10/2016, but you may still have accounts affected by this. The resolution is to go in to each of the affected accounts, click Account Settings, and click Save And, which will commit the name fields. If you have a large number of Individual Name Format accounts missing First and Last Name, you could also run an Account Information import to update the existing accounts. Export the Country, Persona Type, and Account Number to use for splitting the file into separate countries and as Keys during the Mapping step to ensure you're updating the correct accounts.
If the account in question was imported after 7/10/2016 and your organization has completed the Name Format Conversion, contact support and provide this article ID to reference your issue.
