Error: Invalid paramater when editing comments by student, course, and teacher in Education Edge

Users may receive the following error messages when editing comments by Enter Grades By Student, Teacher, and or Course in the Education Edge Registrar's Office.

 

Error: Invalid parameter length

Run-time error ‘0’

Steps to Duplicate

 

  1. Log into Education Edge with preferred username
  2. Click Grades
  3. Click Enter grades by student
  4.  Filter on preferred settings (academic year, school ,session, and terms).
  5. Search for preferred student
  6.  Right click on any class > Click Edit Comment
  7. Error messages appears 


OR

  1. Log into Education Edge with preferred username.
  2. Click Grades.
  3. Click Enter grades by teacher.
  4. Filter on preferred settings (academic year, school ,session, and terms).
  5. Search for preferred teacher.
  6. Right click on any class > Click Edit Comment



Or

  1. Log into Education Edge with the preferred username
  2. Click Grades.
  3. Click Enter Grades by Course.
  4. Filter on preferred settings (academic year, school ,session, and terms).
  5. Search for preferred course by clicking the binoculars.
  6. Right click on any student comment and click Edit Comments.
