Educational History Update Batch causing error when updating Educational History

ResearchPoint provides an option for tracking Educational History information for your prospects. When using the Educational History Update Batch type, attempting to update existing information shows an exception that the record you're trying to update already exists when it should be updating the record without error.
We’re currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future release.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Create a new batch template that is based on the Educational History Update batch template
  2. Create a new educational history update import process that is based on this new batch template
  3. Generate a header file that can be used for importing
  4. Add an entry in the file that would add a educational history item to a constituents record
    • Make sure this new entry consists of the instution name, degree and program. Add Class Of information with any year value for demonstration
    • This should import and commit without issue because there are no edu. history items on constituents record
  5. Modify the imported file to change the class of year information
  6. Import the file again
  7. Batch has exception that the edu. item already exists on the record
