It is recommended to backup your database before proceeding.

To resolve this issue do the following:
  1. Log onto the server with a Windows user with administrator rights.
  2. Ensure all users are logged out of the Raiser's Edge
  3. Download and run the ClearLockConnections.vbs script on the server that hosts the Blackbaud Management Console/  This will clear any locked connections that remain after all users have logged off.
