When a file is imported into a revenue batch and a amount is changed in that revenue batch the receipt amount for that transaction will show as $0 after a successful commit. Any amount that is not changed after the import process completes will show the correct receipt amount on the revenue transaction.
Download and install the latest Service Pack which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.
In prior versions, you can also avoid this by making sure the batch template includes the "Receipt Amount" field
Steps to Duplicate
01.) In CRM go to Administration> Import 02.) Import file that has revenue associated with a record 03.) Open the newly created batch (with no receipt field amount present in batch) 04.) Modify/change the value in any of the "Amount" fields to any other value other than $0 05.) Click any option when "reset defaults" message appears 06.) Note the Transaction ID of the records 07.) Save and close the batch 08.) Click the Commit button 09.) In CRM go to Revenue- Transaction Search 10.) Enter the Transaction ID noted above in step#06 11.) Review the Amount field and the Receipt Amount field (Receipt Amount field should be 0)
