If a particular parent cannot see Resources, it is possible they are not actually in the Parent role even though their child may be tied to them via their Relationships. The problem may actually be that their child does not have the Student role even if they are enrolled in the school. Here are the steps to fix this:
  1. Go to Core > Users > Edit User Profile Data.
  2. Look up and enter the profile for the student.
  3. Under System Information, click on Student Enrollment.
  4. Edit the enrollment row for the current school year.
  5. Check the box for the Student role.
  6. Save & Exit.
