We noticed that when a donor chooses the payment method, "Checking Account", they can successfully process a donation with fake information (bank account, routing number, etc). Why is this happening?

Since Luminate Online is not able to immediately confirm the validity of banking information at the time of the donation, all ACH/Checking Account donations will process immediately. However, when the donation settles, if found to be invalid, or lacking sufficient funds, the transaction will be removed from the donor's Constituent360 record and marked as Declined.
