1. In Registrar's Office, select Export
  2. Click New
  3. Select Class for the Type, and Comma-separated values for the format
  4. Filter on current courses to export 
  5. Add filter for the Academic Year to export
  6. Select the Output tab
  7. Add in the following fields:
    • Class > Class section
    • Class > Academic year
    • Class > Start term
    • Class > Course > Course name
    • Class > Course > School > Name
    • Meetings > Block
      • In the Pop-up window, click OK to export the first meeting
    • Meetings > Teachers > First name
      • In the Pop-up window, click OK to export the primary teacher
    • Meetings > Teachers > Middle name
    • Meetings > Teachers > Last name
    • Meetings > Teachers > Nickname
    • Meetings > Teachers > Suffix 1
    • Meetings > Teachers > Import ID
    • Meetings > Room > Room ID
  8. Save the Export
  9. Click Export Now
 
After this information has been exported, you will want to modify the headings to match those found in Scheme 3 for the Academic Section Import in Core.

1. Core > System Tools > Data Import > Create import job
2. Category: Academic Groups
3. Import Type: Academic Section
4. View File Layout Help

After the headings have been modified, perform an Academic Section Data Import.
