We will first create a query to find all of the donations in the given time frame:
  1. Click Queries
  2. Select a category that you want to store this query in
  3. Select New Query under the tasks menu
  4. Name the query All Donors in a Time Frame
  5. Set the Starting criteria to Base/All Constituents
  6. Set the Data Return Type to Journal Entries
  7. Under Criteria Matching select Match Each Criteria
  8. Select Commonly Used Fields from the Available Fields drop down menu and click on Journal Entry Date
  9. Fill in the Start and End Dates for the Time Periods that you would like to review
  10. Select Commonly Used Fields from the Available Fields drop down menu and click on Individual Transaction Received 
  11. Fill in Greater Than or Equal To .01
  12. Click Save and View Queries

Here are the steps for the Report that will allow you to review the information:
  1. Click Reports
  2. Click Manage Reports
  3. Select a category that you want to store this report in 
  4. Select New Report under the Task Menu
  5. Name the report Largest Donations within a Time Frame
  6. In the Group By drop down menu, select Accounts
  7. Under the Group selection choose to Collapse Groups
  8. Select Commonly Used Fields from the Browse Fields drop down menu and click on Account Name, Received, and any additional contact fields you would like to see in the report
  9. Click the three stacked dots next to the Received field
  10. Set the Aggregate drop down menu to Max
  11. Arrange the columns into order by clicking on the middle of the field column and dragging up or down
  12. Click Save and Run under the Task Menu
  13. Under Query select your category in the top box and your query in the bottom box
  14. At the bottom of the page select a Delivery Option and then click Submit
