Journal report subtracting small amounts from totals

When comparing the Journal Report and Cash Receipts Journal for the same fund, the Journal Report will show an amount smaller than the Cash Receipts Journal by a few cents. 
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Until this issue is resolved, you can remove the GL account numbers from the Journal Report and the numbers will report correctly.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Go to Reports > Pledge and Recurring Gift Reports > Journal and add parameters to the tabs
  2. On the General tab, choose to report in Summary
  3. On the Format tab, under Detail, mark "Include GL account number on summary" 
  4. Run report
  5. Go to Reports > Financial Reports > Cash Receipts Journal and add parameters to the tabs
  6. On the General tab, choose to report in Summary
  7. On the Format tab, under Detail, mark "Include GL account numbers on summaries"
  8. Run report
  9. Compare the amounts for any funds with split gifts and a discrepancy shows: Journal Report - $424.72 // Cash Receipts Journal - $425.00
