How to Find Donations from eCommerce or DIY Forms Within a Time Frame

We can review the transactions submitted through your DIY or custom eCommerce pages within a given time frame by creating a query that looks specifically for these transactions.
  1. Click Queries
  2. Click Manage Queries
  3. Select a category that you want to store this query in
  4. Select New Query under the tasks menu
  5. Name the query All DIY Form Transactions
  6. Set the Starting criteria to Base/All Constituents
  7. Set the Data Return Type to Journal Entries
  8. Under Criteria Matching select Match Each Criteria
  9. Select Commonly Used Fields from the Available Fields drop down menu and click on Journal Entry Date
  10. Fill in the Start and End date for the time period that you would like to review
  11. Select Commonly Used Fields from the Available Fields drop down menu and click on Individual Transaction Received
  12. Fill in Greater Than or Equal To/$0.01
  13. Select Commonly Used Fields from the Available Fields drop down menu and click on Transaction Processor Vehicle
  14. Mark the checkbox for eCommerce Page
  15. Click Save and Preview

If you have multiple DIY pages that accept donations, the above query steps will find all donations that came in through any one of those pages for the given time frame. If you need to query on donations through one page in particular, you can add an additional criteria to the query that is unique to that page. For example, if one of your pages is set with the Summer Campaign, and none of your other DIY pages are, you can add the Campaign field to your query (making sure you are still using Transaction Processor Vehicle) and then check off the box next to the Summer Campaign. When you add Campaign to the query, it would then only return DIY donations that came through the page set with your Summer Campaign.
