How do I find all accounts with a phone number?

You may need to find all accounts in your database who have a phone number in order to reach out to your donors. This can be done by creating a query.
To find all accounts in your database who have a phone number:

1. Click Queries
2. Select a category that you want to store this query in (Ex: Base)
3. Click New Query under the Tasks menu
4. Name the All Accounts w/ Phone Number
5. For Starting Query select Category: Base and Query: All Constituents
6. For the Data Return Type select Accounts
7. For Criteria Matching select Match Each Criteria
8. For Criteria > Browse Fields > select Account
9. Click Phone Number
10. Check the box for Field has any value
11. Click Save and Preview

The query preview will only display the main Phone number type. You can click Choose columns, then search for Phone so that you can add the other phone types to your query preview results. The query preview will also only return the Primary persona, regardless of you checking any persona for phone numbers.  To pull all persona types for accounts with a phone number, you would then need to create a report out of your query results:

1. On the query preview screen click More Options and select Run Report
2. Click on a Category to store this report in (Ex: System)
3. Click on New Report to create a new report
4. Name your report All Personas Phone Numbers
5. For Group By select Accounts
6. For Report Columns > Commonly Used Fields > Click Account Type and all Phone types that you want
7. Click Save and Run
8. Select your query
9. For Personas Reported click the radio icon next to ALL
10. Scroll down, select your preferred Report Format
11. Click Submit
