The Suta rate for West Virginia Defaults to 8.5% in The Financial Edge when making a new tax table for 2016 Calendar year. But their Suta Rate is actually a range of 1.5 to 8.5%. Each organization has to contact the state to get their assigned rate then enter that in their tax tables so the correct amounts are used for quarterly unemployment reports.
In Payroll, go to Configuration.
Select the drop down box and set it to state taxes.
Open the current state tax table.
Highlight SUTA Employer Tax
In the rate box, enter the rate assigned to your organization.
