To allow teachers access to their grade books before the beginning date of the first academic term:

1. Go to Core.
2. Go to School > Years and Terms.
3. Filter on the desired school year and school level.
4. Adjust the date of the first Academic Term to the date that you wish to grant teachers access to their grade books.
5. Go to onCampus.
6. Go to Settings > Academics.
7. Filter on the desired school year, and school level.
8. Click Edit next to the first academic term.
9. Adjust the date of the marking period to be the beginning of the date of the new academic term.
10. Go to Core.
11. Go to School > Years and Terms.
12. Search for the desired school year and school level.
13. Adjust the first academic term date to the original desired date.
