1. Click Accounts
  2. Click Find an Account
  3. Search for and click on the donor's name
  4. Click Journal
  5. Click Add
  6. Click Split Transaction
  7. Enter in the Total Received amount or the Total Pledged amount (you can only enter in either a Received Amount or Pledged Amount)
  8. Enter in the Total Number of Segments for each portion of the total Gift or Pledge
  9. If the total Gift will only have One Gift Type (e.g. Cash, Check, Credit Card, etc.), leave the One Gift Type checkbox marked. Otherwise unmark that checkbox
  10. Click Add Segments and the options for entering the Segment proportions will appear
  11. Fill out the Received or Pledged Amounts for each Segment and select your Fund and other options.
  • NOTE: If you unmarked the One Gift Type check box you need to select the Gift Type for each Segment. Otherwise you just need to select the gift type on the first Segment
  1. Click Save And
