In eTapestry's Communications templates, you can choose to have different font styles for your text. If you choose the font Helvetica and create your documents in PDF, you may notice that the font changes to Arial in some circumstances.
The font settings for Helvetica on PDF documents generated in eTapestry can be affected by the computer you use to view the document and the editing mode of your communications template. In eTapestry the Helvetica font is not embedded, so the PDF viewer will substitute Arial MT if Helvetica is not available on the computer you are using.
When using Guided Editor Mode, Helvetica will always appear as Arial MT when downloaded to PDF regardless of the computer you use to view the document.
When using Advanced Editor Mode, Helvetica will appear as Arial when downloaded to PDF and viewed on Windows but will appear correctly when viewed on Macs.
