Extra membership transaction created when entering memberships

While entering a membership payment for a constituent with an existing membership you may notice that Altru has created a duplicate membership payment for that constituent. The duplicate membership will have the default payment method of Check with no other information entered on the payment
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Go to a constituent's record that has a membership
  2. Click add membership
  3. In the what are they paying for section choose renew membership
  4. In the How are they paying section choose the payment method and enter the corresponding information
  5. Click save to complete the payment
