Error: Attempting to delete an Infraction Type

Note: As of July 9, 2018, Blackbaud's School Management solutions (which include Core, onBoard, onCampus, onMessage, and onRecord) are utilizing a new top level navigation. This primarily affects users performing administrative tasks-constituent navigation for most parents, students, faculty, and alumni will remain the same.
We appreciate your patience as we work to update our documentation. If you are seeing this message, the content of this solution is still being vetted for possible updates. Please refer to this mapping document if you need assistance finding a task in the new navigation.

Infraction Types listed have a red X so would expect to be able to delete, however, after clicking on the X, a pink "Error" banner appears. The reason for this is the Infraction Type has a Consequence tied to it.
This has been determined to be a defect as there should be a padlock icon to indicate the Infraction Type is in use and cannot be deleted.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Navigate to onRecord > Settings > Conduct
  2. On the Infractions Type tab, click the red X beside the Infraction Type
  3. Click the Confirm button in the confirmation message that displays
