If a recurring gift has a past due amount and the designation on the recurring gift is changed, the past due amount resets.
This is a result of this form and change prompting the application to recalculate installments resulting in these values being updated. To resolve please run the Recurring Gift Status Update process.
Steps to Duplicate
1. Find a recurring gift that is past due or perhaps create a recurring gift and select a date several months before today's date and run the update recurring gift status business process 2. Observe the past due amount 3. Change the designation on the recurring gift. 4. Notice that the past due amount has reset or has changed to only one month past due.
