Error: The finder number was not found when entering a finder number from an invitation process on add payment form
When users send out an event invitation the invitees receive a Finder Number. When the Finder Number is used to add payment in batch or add payment form the user receives Error: The finder number was not found.
Steps To Duplicate
Send Event Invitation
Export Results from invitation send process
Copy Finder Number from first row of exported results
Go to Revenue and select Add payment
Enter Finder Number
Receive Error: The finder number was not found.
Answer:
Download and install the latest service pack, which contains all fixes from previous service packs. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the service pack.
