There are a few things to consider before turning on ResearchPoint functionality within Altru: 
  1. First, verify that you have the Major Giving module within Altru, by ensuring that you have a Prospects functional area. If you're unsure, please check with your Account Executive. 
  2. Information in the current standalone ResearchPoint database is not integrated into Altru.  Instead, we rescreen records in Altru once ResearchPoint functionality is turned on within Altru.  This may mean that any information you entered in your current standalone ResearchPoint database will not come into Altru.
  3. You must build a query in Altru of the records that you would like rescreened once we turn on ResearchPoint functionality in Altru. The number of total constituents to re-screen must be less than or equal to the number of total constituents that have been screened in the current standalone ResearchPoint database.   Please note that the number of constituents in the query cannot exceed 2,500 constituents; multiple queries may be necessary.  
  4. After rescreening, your current ResearchPoint standalone database will be disabled after 30 days.
