A Schedule Exception Import should be uploaded and only validated NOT approved through Core > System Tools > Data Import > Academic Groups > Academic Section. Once the file is validated then you can reach out to Support and request the Schedule Exception Import Job name with the date it was submitted be processed. The Customer Service Associate will NOT be able to process your file as it will need to be sent up to our R&D data department. Depending on the time of year it can take 3-7 days to complete the import.
Please relay to the Customer Service Associate when you are looking to have this done, keeping in mind the time of year.
Note: Schools that have more than 1-week schedule rotations will not be able to use the Schedule Section Import. It is possible, for example, if you have a 2 week 5-day schedule to change it to 1 week 10-day and import schedule exceptions. It is important to be careful when using bump/skip to make sure you have the correct cycle days for the days of the week.
