Error message when trying to update an installment schedule: “The installment schedule begins date cannot be after the first installment date.”

When attempting to edit an existing recurring gift you may receive the follow message: " The installment schedule begins date cannot be after the first installment date"
Ensure the installment schedule date on the recurring gift is on or before the date of the actual first installment

Steps to Duplicate

1. Go to the Revenue tab.
2. Use Transaction search and locate a recurring gift.
3. Edit the Recurring Gift.
4. Press save.
5. Note the message "The installment Schedule begins date cannot be after the first installment date."
