When clicking the Word icon to merge a letter on Gift or Action record, users may receive the following error: Error: RE7 has stopped working. This may occur if the constituent linked to the Gift or Action is marked as Inactive or Deceased.
Unmark the Invalid and/or Deceased checkboxes on the Bio 1 tab of the Constituent record.
Opt to include Deceased individuals in Mailings:
1. Select Config. 2. Select Business Rules. 3. Select General. 4. Under "Exclude deceased individuals from...," unmark Mailings.
Steps to Duplicate
1. Open a gift record. 2. On the Gift tab, click the Word Merge icon to merge the letter. Error message appears.
1. Open an action record with Category=Mailing, Email, or Task/Other. 2. On the General tab, click the Word Merge icon to merge the letter. Error message appears.
