Merge tags not populating in letter for rolled up Split Transaction

Merge tags for Split Transactions are not populating for Gift Type, Approach, Campaign, Fund, and Letter when the segments are rolled up.
These fields do not populate because the segments could have different values in the fields and they do not sum the way amounts do. The merge tag would not know which value to show.

Documents can be created from the Journal Entry to show these fields:
  1. Navigate to the account
  2. Click Journal
  3. Click on the Split Transaction
  4. Click Create Document
  5. Select your template
  6. Under Upgraded/Split Transactions select “Generate a single document, but keep each upgrade/segment separate in Entry Lists and other Widgets”
  7. Click Next
  8. Click Next
  9. Click Run

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Click Communications
  2. Click Manage Communications
  3. Click on a category
  4. Under your template, click Create Documents
  5. Select the query with the split transactions
  6. Click Next
  7. Under Grouping select One Document per Journal Entry
  8. Under Upgraded/Split Transactions select Roll up related upgrades/segments into one transaction
  9. Click Next
  10. Click Next
  11. Click Next
  12. Click Next
  13. Click Run
  14. Open the documents and see that the Gift Type, Approach, Campaign, Fund, and Letter are all blank
