There are several items that can potentially impact the sync process with the courses:
  • Verify that the 'Include in onCampus?' attribute has been added to Education Edge course records.
  • Ensure that the 'Track Schedule Changes' checkbox has been marked for the appropriate academic years.
  • At least one teacher and student must be tied to the course sections in Education Edge.
  • Mismatched Section Identifiers - Ensure section identifiers match in both EE and onCampus.
  • Course Repository Orphan - Verify course has not changed from original linked course. If no longer offered, click Remove when viewing the error in Connect EE Setup.
  • Section Repository Orphan - Verify Section has not changed from original linked class. If no longer offered, click Remove when viewing the error in Connect EE Setup.
  • Ensure the Course has a Department in EE, if not see Course Not Associated with a Grade/Department based on School Level in Connect EE error log.
Changes in mapped terms or the removal of terms from Core after courses have been synced can cause issues where courses sync into terms which are now incorrect or invalid. This can also lead to duplication of course sections when the system attempts to re-insert the classes into the corrected terms.
