Note: As of July 9, 2018, Blackbaud’s School Management solutions (which include Core, onBoard, onCampus, onMessage, and onRecord) are utilizing a new top level navigation. This primarily affects users performing administrative tasks—constituent navigation for most parents, students, faculty, and alumni will remain the same. We appreciate your patience as we work to update our documentation. If you are seeing this message, the content of this solution is still being vetted for possible updates. Please refer to this mapping document if you need assistance finding a task in the new navigation.
When reviewing the content categories within various content types, users may notice that some content categories are listed multiple times.
For example, a user may navigate to Core > Communication > Content Types > Announcements and see two "All School" Announcement categories.
This occurs because the user is a member of more than one Content Editor Access Group with access to the content category.
To review the Content Editor Access Groups a user belongs to: 1. Navigate to onMessage > Settings > Pages & Content 2. Mark Display By User 3. Click on the Number of Groups link for the User 4. Note the listed groups 5. Mark Display By Group 6. Review the groups to see which groups are causing content categories to overlap
