1. Check to see if it was an unresolved sales order.  Sometimes these orders become unresolved online sales orders and when we resolve them, we do not resolve them as a gift membership, so they get entered as a membership to the gift giver instead.
  • Go to the sales order record
  • Confirm there is a user name in the Created By field
  • Go to the Documentation tab, see if there is an error message indicating this was an unresolved online sales order.
  • If there is a username and/or error on the Documentation tab, this indicates the order was an unresolved online sales order and when it was resolved, was not resolved as a gift membership but just as a regular membership.
